There is so much choice out there where do you start and how do you know which are the right ones for you? If like Craig you buy the wrong type of shoes, you run (pardon the pun) the risk of getting injured.
Craig was mis-advised and ended up getting injured. But, it wasn’t just the cost of buying the wrong shoes, it was all the on-going ‘hidden’ costs of physio appointments that soon added up. He didn’t want other runners to fall
down the trap of wearing the wrong shoes so whilst out injured, he came up with the idea of developing a device which would help fellow runners to make the right choice of shoe.
How many times do we see posts on social media and running forums asking for recommendations of what shoes to buy. Everybody is different, we have different gait and make our own personal choices. What might work for one person
doesn’t necessarily work for another. Even if you’re an experienced runner – how confident are you that you are wearing the right shoe? At the same time, we all want the latest running shoes and are tech savvy and early adopters
of new technology and let’s face it, we love data!
Step forward mymo… a sensor device which measures your gait and then simply matches your running style to a database of running shoes. Rather than sales assistants trying to sell you shoes that will earn them the most commission,
mymo gives you the confidence to make a much more informed decision when it comes to buying your next pair of running shoes.
