Nokia C7 silver Video Review
Released in October 2010, the sophisticated Nokia C7 Black is a touch screen smart phone, weighing 130 grams and measuring 117.3 x 56.8 x 10.5 mm. The 3.5 inch AMOLED touch screen features a Gorilla Glass and 16 million colour display, capacitive buttons and a full QWERTY keypad, as well as sensors that are capable of determining auto turn off and auto rotate.
Powered by a 680 MHz ARM 11 processor, the C7 uses a Symbian version 3 operating system and has an internal memory storage capacity of 8GB, which is expandable up to 32 GB via a microSD card. Its Li-Ion 1200 mAh battery supports a talk time of up to 9 hr 30 min on 2G and of 5 hr on 3G networks respectively.
The Nokia C7 Silver has a 8 mega pixel camera, supporting numerous imaging features such as full screen viewfinder, self timer, dual LED flash, red eye reduction and geo tagging, while it allows video recording in 1280 x 720 pixel resolution at 25frames per second and VGA video call in 640 x 480 pixel resolution, at 15 frames per second. Video viewing is possible in H.263, H.264, AVC and MPEG-4 formats. Music can be heard via FM radio or the phone’s music player which supports WAV, eAAC+, MP3 and WMA formats. Other entertainment options include WebTV and JAVA enabled games.
Technologies supported for data transfer and internet usage include 3G connectivity, microUSB, EDGE Class 32, GPRS Class 32, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n. Instant messaging, SMS, multimedia messaging, Email, Push email and HTML, WAP and xHTML browsing are also possible. For navigation the phone supports GPS technology and has OVI Maps, version 3.0. Besides black, the Nokia C7 is also available in Frosty Metal and Mahogany Brown colour options.
